Hello there
Anyone still here reading my blog? Haha, I doubt so… unless you’re still active in Tumblr or kinda like a stalker who knows my old username. Anyways, whatever the reason is, thanks for visiting this site.
I used to be here a lot back in my poly days. It was beautiful when I look back, I was a private yet active person in real life? - if that even make sense, haha! I still do updates on and off here, depending on how the stars align, but not really. You get what I mean.
So, what happened? There wasn’t much history recorded as you see, so I am just here to fill it in in case I want to read it up later in life. You never know when you need a reminder or a laugh on your life journey.
So… after my internship in poly, I got a job almost immediately. I was surprised how easy it was since I have heard people being jobless for months and the employment rate was low blah blah. I was basically hired ON THE SPOT. How cool was that? haha! After about a year, decided to move on, because boss decided to shift me from a shipping role to a purchasing role to a HR role?! I am honestly confused if I was really bad at my job or I was needed else where. I have spoken to boss and told him that I was only interested in logistics related roles, so I expect some change in my position soon. He tried pursuading me to remain at where I am by offering to sponsor me for a HR degree. I rejected that and moved on months after. He was kinda dissapointed I guess, from his reaction to my resignation letter.
Anyways, I got a job before I quit. Honestly, this new place taught me a lot on the skills that I really need in the working world and knowledge in my field. I love that it is a small company, where I get to do everything myself from A to Z. It gave me a overview on what matters and why things are the way they should be. My growth was amazing, I love this company to bits. BUT, business wasn’t going too well after 2 years of being there and the work load was too little for me. It funny to others that I quit because I have nothing to do, but to me, time waste not learning or doing things are my concern. I do not want to waste my time trying to be busy and not growing. I am young, I need more knowledge and real work. So, with that, I moved on peacefully.
Well, not just boredom that made me left, I was actually was planning a business with a friend across the border. In summary, that business did not work out, and it was one of the worst period of my life. Never knew a person ( my partner ) can be that lazy. I find myself in huge debt, and being cheated by a friend. He doesn’t care, I know. You know what? life goes on, there will always be people who have a lack of moral sense. I am too emotionally drained to pursue.
I was so down at that period, I knew I needed to leave. So I left, to Japan. I wanted it to be as long as I can, but visa only allow 3 months. My mum paid for the trip, she gladly did and I am always grateful for that love and trust. One of the best trip of my life! Met, someone special and started dating.
Got back to Singapore after, rest for a few weeks and started to find jobs again. And I got hired on the spot again! I’ve never job searched for more than 3 days in my life. Haha! Work has been tough, but I am growing. It has been 6 months now, and I am planning to get back to my degree at the end of 2018. ^^
PS I am too lazy to edit my post, bare with it. Sorry! <3
